We’ve got a second trailer for Sinners, a vampire film from Black Panther writer-director Ryan Coogler set in what looks like the early 20th century. It stars Michael B. Jordan and Michael B. Jordan as two brothers who, along with other townspeople, face off against some evil vampires.
This one gives us a better sense of the plot compared to the previously released trailer, and we also have an official logline, which you can check out below:
Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. “You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.”
In addition to Jordan, who worked with Coogler before in Black Panther and Creed, we see the larger cast in this trailer, which includes Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, Hawkeye) Jack O’Connell (Ferrari), Wunmi Mosaku (Loki, Lovecraft Country), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Miller (True Lies), and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods). We also see that this film is going to be gory, which befits a vampire film.
Sinners premieres in theaters on April 18, 2025 (yes, that’s a month later than was announced with the previous trailer). It’s written and directed by Coogler and includes many behind-the-camera folks from his work on Black Panther, such as director of photography Autumn Durald Arkapaw, production designer Hannah Beachler, editor Michael P. Shawver, composer Ludwig Göransson, and costume designer Ruth E. Carter.
